Q: “Do you work with English as a Second Language Scholars?”
A: Yes, we frequently work with those whose first language is not English.

Q: “Do you edit journal articles and grant applications in the Humanities and in Science and Math?”
A: Yes, we edit documents in virtually every genre.

Q: “Do you edit citations in the full range of styles, from Chicago to MLA?”
A: Our specialized edits are equipped to make corrections to all citation styles.

Q: “How quickly can you return work?”
A: Although we prefer as much lead time as possible, we can meet your timeline requirements. For work returned in under 5 business days, we add a modest rush fee.

Q: “Do you have a preferred sort of document?”
A: We feel most at home with full length documents, such as dissertations, theses and book manuscripts. While our first preference goes to the Humanities, nearly half of our recent clients work in the fields of technology, science, business, math and medicine.

Q: “Do you edit fiction and poetry?”
A: We absolutely edit creative writing; it’s one of our passions.

Q: “What’s the maximum/minimum page length for something to be edited?”
A: We edit documents of every length, from CV’s and Personal Statements, to full length manuscripts and novels.

Q: “Do you offer currently enrolled students a reduced rate?”
A: We do offer discounted prices for full-time students.

Q: “How much communication can I have with my editor?”
A: We are happy to be in touch with you regarding the progress of your edit within reason. Beyond a reasonable degree of communication with your personal editor, we ask that you honor our hourly editing rate.

Q: “Can I request part of my work line edited, while other sections may require a proofread only?”
A: Yes, we customize the Client Proposal to your expressed needs.

While Editing is in Progress…
We will contact you if your editor has questions regarding your work. Additionally, our editors are available to meet with you in person either before or during your edit, by appointment. Some short edits can be conducted during two or three hour meetings at our Cambridgeport Office.
